Understanding Aperture
large depth of field
small depth of field

what is aperture?  The size of the opening in the lens that permits light to hit the film/digital sensor

How does aperture work in the camera? Aperture is measured in f-stops, it separates the subject from the background a low f-stop allows more light to enter while a high f-stop allows for less light to enter

in the photo?  the subject is in focus while the background is blurry and out of focus.

the relationship of the exposure triangle? The ISO in the camera typically remains the same while for aperture the shutterspeed must increase if you're inside and decrease if it's outside.

25 THEMES CONTACT SHEET & QUESTIONS

i. I liked the shooting assignment because I liked the freedom of picking the subject but had some difficulties completing all of the different themes.
ii. end result-  I think the end result is neat because then it gives the ability for other people to decide their meanings of my pictures.  It is also very interesting that you can get all 25 pictures so easily onto photoshop and make the contact sheet.
iii-  i like the action shots of the soccer because of how excited the subjects were to see the outcome of their pictures and the seal pictures because seals are cute and loud when they bark.  I also like the tower in San Fransico I think that the edited version looks really neat.
